Katie T. Boone


Mrs. Boone advises clients on all aspects of corporate and business law, including the following representative matters:

  • choice of business entity and entity formation and maintenance,
  • mergers, acquisitions, sales and financings,
  • private placements and securities offerings,
  • all manner of contract drafting, review and negotiations, including:
    – executive and employee agreements and compensation structures,
    – vendor, supplier, and sales and marketing agreements, and
    – loan agreements
  • corporate governance,
  • investor and board of directors relations and procedures, and
  • federal and state securities regulation.

Mrs. Boone is a member of the State Bar of Georgia.


Mrs. Boone began her legal career as a corporate associate in the Atlanta office of Alston & Bird in 2006, where she focused on mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, securities regulation and executive compensation structures. She then served as in house corporate counsel for DS Waters of America, Inc., a large international beverage company based in Atlanta, where she focused on mergers and acquisitions, contracts, marketing compliance and employee issues. Most recently prior to joining Beardsley, P.C. and due to a family move to London, she served as in house corporate and regulatory counsel to the British Hospitality Association, a UK lobbying group, where she focused on contracts, corporate governance, regulatory compliance and employment law.


Mrs. Boone received her B.A. in Political Science and B.S. in Biology, magna cum laude, from the Honors Program at the University of Georgia in 2002. She received her J.D. from Washington & Lee University School of Law in 2006, where she served as Chair of the Moot Court Executive Board, and where she continues to serve on the alumni advisory board.
